Hello, Tumblr. This is Bowman House. It’s one of MBC’s five on-campus houses, but unfortunately it cannot be lived in. It’s been unoccupied for about six or seven years, but it’s a historical landmark (part of the reason we can’t renovate it and make it available to students again) and it’s really, really creepy.
Last year, we had a haunted house in it, and I found the stairs to the basement— a door which was supposed to be locked, by the way— and it’s just this year that I gained the courage to go inside of the basement. Those last three photos are inside the basement. The one with the red chairs is a legit seance set-up, left there by the previous inhabitants. That’s candle wax on the table. I’m not kidding, and none of this was constructed for the photos.
